9/11 is more than a memorial of an attack. It is more than remembering a day that was shaken by inconceivable hate. It’s more than holding a grudge. It’s bigger than revenge or bitterness. America is not jaded. It’s not about them. It’s about us. Because we will never forget the day they tried to break us but could not. We will never forget the ones we lost. We will never forget the heroes. We will never forget the spirit throughout our country that told us to stand when the towers fell. We can never forget how we fell on our knees and asked God to help us. We can never forget how we cried with our neighbors and hugged people we had never met simply because we were bound together by one common bond-We were one nation under God, and no matter what adversity were to come upon us, we knew that the American spirit was a heroic one…Right on time when we needed it. We will never forget how we conquered fear and hate with a love in every heart, a flag on every door, and a prayer on every tongue. Let’s never never give that up. Let’s never never forget.
All you wanted to do was hurt me. All you ended up doing was teaching me how to forgive. You wanted me to die from your rejection, but you just taught me to stop living for your approval. What you meant for evil, God meant for good.
We are not promised tomorrow. Let that sink in. Life is short, eternity isn’t. Make today count for Christ.
I love God. That’s all. I’m not perfect. I just want to do what’s right. I just want to serve God because of all that He has done for me.
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.
Don’t worry, God is in control. He knows the past, the present, and the future.
When I’m worried, it’s usually because I’m trying to do everything myself. When I’m at peace, it’s usually because I remember that God is in control.
